Licensed Professional Counselor | She/her
Serving Missouri clients ages 16 and older, including older teens, young adults, adults, parents, and caregivers, through individual online therapy.

Hello, fellow traveler. I believe life is a journey, and it can leave us with bumps, bruises, unexpected turns, and stretches when the path ahead is difficult to see. I do not enter therapy believing I have all your answers or that I should take over your journey. I come prepared to walk beside you through the rough patches, listen with honesty and care, and help you recognize the strengths, choices, and possibilities already within reach. My hope is that therapy offers a safe harbor where you can be real about what you are carrying, explore what matters to you, and move at a pace that feels true to who you are without feeling judged or pressured to become someone you are not.
Christina works with older teens ages 16–17, young adults, adults, parents, and caregivers through individual telehealth. Her areas of focus are anxiety and depression; parenting and caregiver stress; LGBTQ+ concerns; family and relationship stress; young-adult transitions; and trauma.
Christina offers person-centered therapy integrating CBT and DBT-informed strategies according to each client's needs and goals. Her style is open, direct, honest, and flexible. She works collaboratively to understand priorities, notice patterns, and select strategies that respect your culture, strengths, and lived experience.
Christina wants clients to feel comfortable rather than judged. Sessions may feel warm, genuine, and straightforward, with room for compassion and honest conversation. You do not need the perfect words or a complete plan before beginning.
Anxiety can keep your mind scanning for what may go wrong, while depression can make ordinary steps feel distant. Christina helps you explore these experiences, notice patterns, and consider responses grounded in clarity and self-compassion.
When other people depend on you, your own needs can disappear beneath the next demand. Therapy can help you name what you carry, consider boundaries, and make room for your well-being alongside the people and responsibilities that matter.
You deserve affirming care where your identity is respected. Christina supports clients navigating belonging, relationships, family responses, discrimination, and change with openness and respect for each person's lived experience.
Family and relationship patterns can shape communication, boundaries, and conflict. Individual therapy with Christina can help you understand those patterns and strengthen your voice.
Education, work, relationships, identity, and independence can bring many decisions at once. Christina helps you slow the pressure, clarify what matters, and approach change on a timeline that fits your life.
Trauma can affect safety, trust, conflict, and connection. Christina offers a trauma-informed, respectful, and flexible space to understand those responses without judgment and work toward greater steadiness, choice, and self-understanding at a pace guided by your goals.

Progress is personal and rarely follows a straight line. You may begin to name your needs more clearly, notice patterns sooner, communicate boundaries, or approach a difficult next step with more choice. Therapy does not promise an outcome; it can support greater clarity, voice, and agency.
Christina brings more than 20 years in education and more than a decade in counseling. She earned a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration and a master’s degree in counseling.
I am a Black woman, a mother, and a person whose faith is personally meaningful to me. My own life has included struggle, change, and difficult seasons, and those experiences help shape the warmth and genuineness I bring to this work. I value multiculturalism and welcome the cultures, identities, beliefs, and perspectives that each person brings into the room. I also understand that clients may hold values and worldviews different from my own. Therapy with me is not automatically faith-based or spiritually directed, and I will not impose my faith or personal values on you. My role is to help create an honest, respectful space where you can speak openly, feel less judged, and explore what matters to you. I do not claim expertise in every culture or life experience; I come prepared to listen, remain curious, and honor the person in front of me.
Christina’s broader background also includes experience supporting anger and emotional regulation, workplace stress and burnout, and autism-related concerns.
If Christina’s style and focus areas feel connected to what you need, a conversation may offer space to ask questions and consider whether working together feels like a good fit. You can compare both clinicians before reaching out.
