As the founder of Safe Harbor Counseling of Missouri, I bring over two decades of lived experience and professional training to my work as a Licensed Professional Counselor. My path from overcoming homelessness to serving in the U.S. Army and earning advanced degrees has shaped my deep empathy and commitment to helping others navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, and life’s toughest transitions. As a queer, neurodivergent veteran and parent to a child with disabilities, I offer a unique, intersectional approach rooted in compassion, mindfulness, and evidence-based care. I specialize in working with Veterans, the LGBTQ+ community, and those carrying invisible wounds. My goal is to create a therapeutic space where you feel seen, safe, and supported on your journey toward healing and personal transformation.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I bring both lived experience and professional expertise to my work supporting adults navigating complex emotions, trauma, identity, and life transitions. As a neurodivergent therapist and parent to neurodivergent children, I understand how exhausting it can be to feel misunderstood or unseen. My approach is warm, relational, and grounded in mindfulness, trauma-informed care, and real human presence. I specialize in working with individuals exploring queer identity, neurodivergence, emotional intensity, and grief. I offer an affirming space where you don’t have to mask, explain, or dilute who you are. My goal is to help you feel safe, connected, and empowered to move forward with authenticity and self-acceptance.
